What's Included in Day Fees/Accommodation

Hunting at Golden Badger Safaris is available year-round, with no seasonal restrictions.

Important Information for Your Hunting Experience

Clothing & Personal Items:

  • Hunting Gear:

    3–4 pairs of hunting pants (preferably zip-off legs) with a belt. | 3–4 hunting shirts (natural colours or camouflage). | Safari hat and/or cap. | 1–2 pairs of casual clothes for at the camp and for travel.

  • Outerwear:

    Light jacket and a few sweaters.| Warm jacket and sweater (essential for June–August).

  • Footwear:

    Comfortable hunting boots with 3–5 pairs of socks. | Camp shoes or sneakers.

  • Essentials:

    Underwear. | Toiletries. | Prescription and personal medications (including anti-malaria if necessary—consult your doctor). | Sunglasses and sunscreen.

  • Equipment:

    Camera and/or video camera with chargers. | Binoculars. | Power converter kit (for South African plugs; widely available online).

Documents To Remember:

  • Passport and airline tickets.

  • Rifle permits (if applicable).

  • Serial numbers and completed USA4457 form (if traveling with a rifle).

  • Contact numbers for the outfitter.

  • Hotel reservation details (if applicable).

  • Cash for expenses.
